]]> Mary Kate Frauenheim was born and raised in Buffalo. She went to Columbia University for her undergraduate degree where she majored in neuroscience. She then returned home and attended the University at Buffalo for medical school where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and then continued on to complete her residency training here as well. She is the recipient of the David H Nichols award for excellence in gynecologic surgery.

Throughout her training she has grown to love all aspects of women’s health and obstetrics, specifically the ability to be able to follow her patients lifelong. She also has a passion for gynecologic and minimally invasive surgery.

She lives in Kenmore with her husband and two dogs. In her spare time, she likes to bake, exercise, and go boating on the lake. Go Bills!

]]> Renee Hansen, CNM began her career in healthcare as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at a long-term health care facility. While working there she pursued a Medical Office Assistant degree. Renee was then employed, for many years, in a pediatrician’s office. The model of the registered nurses in this office prompted her interest in pursuing an advanced healthcare degree. In 1995, Renee completed her Registered Nursing degree. With these degrees and experience, she was employed as the office manager of a newly opened OB/GYN practice within a multi-specialty group. Given this experience she soon determined that women’s healthcare was her niche. Not yet done learning, Renee sought and completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Philadelphia University, to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Upon graduation in 2013, she worked in the Olean area as a full scope midwife. Renee then joined Catholic Health serving the rural Springville, NY area.

She is excited to join OB/GYN Associates of Western New York, and to work alongside Dr. Virgina Bond. Renee’s goal is to be the most caring and compassionate midwife for her patients as she is very passionate at providing the most comprehensive care to women across their lifespan.

]]> Tracey graduated from Jamestown Community College in 2000 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and started her nursing career as a maternity nurse in Dunkirk, NY. Her nursing career also involved caring for newborns immediately after delivery and up to their discharge home. In 2018 she obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing from D’Youville College. In 2021 she graduated from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky with a Masters in Nursing in Midwifery. She is also a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider and Instructor as well as a Certified Lactation Counselor.

After observing a birth in 1998 she has been amazed by the birthing process, the capability of the female body and resilience of newborns. She is excited to guide families through their new beginnings.

Tracey lives in Silver Creek with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She loves the sun and snow. She enjoys reading, watching movies, being outdoors, telling her husband what to do, spending time with her children and attending their sporting events throughout the seasons.

]]> Gabrielle Wind is a WNY native. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, with an emphasis on Public health at Niagara University in 2018. She had always had a passion for medicine, but she fell in love with Women’s Health while on rotation at OBGYN Associates of WNY. She spent 8 weeks of her schooling working with the office. Soon the Obstetrics and Gynecology practice, and the group of providers at our office confirmed her passion.

Gabrielle strives to provide a gentle exam and comfortable exam. She puts an emphasis on patient education so patients feel heard and have a better understanding when leaving the office.

In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys traveling abroad for mission work, working with stray animals, and reading.

]]> About Dr. Tambar

Dr. Stuti Tambar obtained her undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Buffalo in addition to completing her residency in the General Surgery Training program.  Dr. Tambar continued her training with a specialization in treating malignant and benign breast disease from Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Following her specialized training, Dr. Tambar served as a Breast Surgical Oncologist in California, before returning home to Western New York to give back to the community that helped her become who she is today. Dr. Tambar’s clinical interest focuses on screening and identifying high-risk patients that will benefit from surveillance.

When she is not working, she most enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, cooking and running.

She also has a passion for obstetrics, spending time getting to know patients throughout their pregnancy. She currently lives with her husband and three children in the city of Buffalo.
